Hi! We’re Danyil and Alona, both 28 years old, originally from Ukraine - Danyil is from Luhansk and Alona is from Mykolaiv. For the past 4 years, we’ve been living in the Netherlands. Right now, we’re traveling by bicycle from the Netherlands to Georgia. We’ve been on the road for over a month and have already covered more than 2300 km. Before this trip, we traveled across Europe by car, visiting 13 countries and actually living in it. At some point, we realized it wasn’t enough for us - so we went back to the Netherlands, sold the car, quit our jobs, got rid of most of our belongings, and now our whole life fits on our bicycles. We’re easygoing and respectful people, we value personal space and try to be low-maintenance guests. We enjoy good conversations, but we’re also perfectly fine with quiet time. Danil loves cooking (and actually does it well), so we’d be happy to cook a meal as a thank you 🙂 We also love animals - we used to have a German Shepherd and a cat named Igor, so we get along great with furry friends. Sometimes we enjoy talking about life and philosophy, but nothing too intense - we know how to stay normal 😄

Hello! I'm Simona, a multidisciplinary artist from Romania working in interior decoration, jewelry, wearable art, and creative design. Creativity has always been at the center of my life, and I love beautiful spaces, nature, culture, and meaningful conversations. This summer, my son Rafael and I are relocating to Cascais, Portugal, a place we have fallen in love with for its ocean, relaxed atmosphere, and connection to nature. Rafael is 8 years old (turning 9 this year), curious, kind, respectful, and very mature for his age. He speaks English well and loves meeting new people, discovering new places, and, most of all, spending time with animals. We are calm, tidy, easy-going people who enjoy simple pleasures: walking by the sea, exploring local neighborhoods, creating art, reading, visiting markets and cafés, and enjoying peaceful moments in nature. Animals have always been part of our lives. I cared for a beloved family dog for 17 years and have also lived with cats, so we are very comfortable around pets. I have spent nearly 20 years living in rented homes and have always treated every place with respect and care, as if it were my own. Friends often describe me as creative, reliable, warm, and attentive to details. Through Couchsurfing, I hope to connect with open-minded people, learn more about local life and culture, and create genuine human connections. I believe travel is not only about places but also about the people we meet along the way. Thank you for visiting our profile, and we look forward to meeting kind people and sharing good experiences together. 🌿

Hi! I'm Farzin, a backpacker from Iran who loves slow travel, hitchhiking, camping, and meeting people from different cultures. For me, traveling isn't about checking famous places off a list. It's about conversations with strangers, sharing meals, hearing local stories, and experiencing how people actually live. Some of my favorite travel memories come from unexpected moments on the road rather than famous tourist attractions. I enjoy hiking, spending nights under the stars, reading, photography (I'm currently falling in love with analog photography), and keeping a travel journal. I also like learning about local traditions, food, music, and the little everyday things that make each place unique. Outside of traveling, I'm studying Business Management and learning programming because I want to build a career that gives me the freedom to explore more of the world. I'm an easygoing person who appreciates honesty, curiosity, and meaningful conversations. Whether it's talking about books, history, travel stories, psychology, daily life, or just laughing over cultural differences, I'm always happy to connect with open-minded people. I'm new to international hitchhiking, but I'm excited to experience the world one road, one conversation, and one friendship at a time. Looking forward to meeting you somewhere along the way!

Hi, I’m Farzaneh — a psychologist and Sama dance instructor who works at the intersection of movement, emotion, and human connection. I combine psychology, yoga, and traditional Sama dance in my practice to help people explore emotional awareness, relaxation, and inner balance through movement. I’m traveling because I believe the most meaningful part of life is connecting with people beyond borders, cultures, and languages. And it would be precious experience for my PhD plan in psychology and dance movement therapy

Hi, I’m Tiffany. I'm a quiet, tidy, and joyful traveler relocating to Ireland. I’m an extroverted introvert who reads the room well and helps shared spaces feel welcoming. I’m respectful of privacy, comfortable in my own company, and easy to live with. I work remotely as a freelance writer and consulting strategist, so I’m used to balancing independence with collaboration and fitting into different household rhythms. I’m kind, reliable, adaptable, and detail‑oriented. I’m comfortable with cooking, organizing, caring for animals, and keeping shared living spaces running smoothly. I settle easily into both shared or solitary routines, and I genuinely enjoy contributing wherever I’m useful. I value compassion, honesty, integrity, and a cozy, peaceful home environment. I’m comfortable in rural or quiet settings and happy to follow household norms. I communicate clearly, ask questions when needed, and am mindful of balancing my remote‑work schedule with being a considerate guest. I’m preparing for a long‑term move to Ireland and will arrive in Dublin on July 14. I’m grateful for any short‑term landing support while I settle in and begin building community locally. I’m also happy to do a brief video chat so we can meet properly and make sure we’re both comfortable.

Hi! My name is Erin and I am currently still a school student. Next year I will be taking a gap year before going to university. During that year I hope to travel, meet new people and gain greater experience of the world before properly starting my life. As you can probably tell by looking at my photos, I love animals! I have grown up around all sorts of species and really enjoy caring for them. Contrary to this, I actually hope in perusing a career in medicine (if I get the grades 🤞) or in paramedic science because I have a great interest in health and social care. I am looking for volunteering or work experience in any country other than the UK. I have a very open mind and would be willing to do a variety tasks (within reason) and learn new things!
