How experiences work
How does booking an experience work?
Pick a date and the number of guests, and send a request. The host accepts or declines, usually within a day. You get a message either way, and you can chat with the host before and after.
How do I pay?
You pay your host directly, in cash or however you agree together. FreeCouchSurf charges no booking or service fee to guests or hosts.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Each experience shows its cancellation policy: flexible (24 hours), moderate (3 days) or strict (7 days) before the start. Cancel from your bookings page and the host is told straight away.
Who can host an experience?
Any member with a complete profile. Hosts set their own price, days and group size, and decide which requests to accept.
